5-12-2009 I saw my dear friend Julie Terry this evening at the GKVF Annual Report and she paid me the most sincere compliment. I know I’ve heard it before but for some reason this time I think it may have been a sign and I listened. She complimented my writing, FaceBook updates, blog, etc. She inspired me to visit poetry. Many of you don’t know that I write some here and there but never feel like it’s publishing worthy…..well, here it goes.
Beyond as far as I can see
God has great things in store for me
Waiting now for what will come
It is the future we always welcome
Forever we wish for it to be
Many are lost, many cannot see
The future is ours to colonize it’s true
But believing it’s up to us leaves many blue
For you see it is not up to us to be
It truly is God’s will that delivers us from Hell for eternity
So when stressed about what tomorrow will be
Relax, trust God, be patient, be kind, have faith for you WILL be set free
NOT ALL TRIALS IN LIFE ARE FIGURED ON THIS SIDE OF HEAVEN….PEACE IS WHEN WE TRUST GOD FIRST AND LAST
FAR AWAY FRIEND
Though you are far away
You were my 1st thought today
Knowing you wake w/ God close
Knowing you’re blessed by the HOLY Host of Hosts
You say in time His will be done
Starting w/ God our true hearts are never shunned
So where is the rest of your day?
I know you will take time to earnestly pray
If ever in doubt give Him the yoke
Trust in Him … Anything else and you’re toast
For now I go but am not done
This day I wish you peace, happiness and fun…
spread apart
design is smart
catch all within
mind is akin
seen to eye
none pass by
hang on tight
limited in might
season to come
can not run
slowly to die
good reason why
God painted each
its our treat
captured in time
landscape is mine
forever we’re thankful
collected in handfuls
time to grieve
farewell to leaves
