Chip,
I have been following your progress through the blog and the thoughts and prayers of all your many friends have obviously been working in your favor. Not only in the good news about your WBC, but in the quality of life and the relationship you share with Kate.
I have deliberately kept clear, knowing that you have your hands full with friends and family, but have had you on several prayer chains in my church since the beginning.
I would like to say hello by phone and offer my best wishes in person. When you’re up to it, and have a spare moment, drop me aline and let me know when it would be a good time to call.
My prayers and warmest regards,
Vic

Great photos, Chip! Baby Cole is a beautiful child. I’m not sure I can endorse ’stinkpotter’ boating in any scenario, but I’ll agree that being on the water is better than being on dry land.
The goats look like they’re peeking in and asking, “Hey, gotta sec?” Completely hilarious!

It’s been a crazy week between work and Dave Pulice and his family visited me this week. So I’m pretty tired with work and play. Just like I said last time life is too short to let anything get in the way of what you want to do so do it!!! I hope you beat this thing you definitely no matter what gotta keep your mind right through this whole thing it makes a big difference and talk to as many people as possible. I read your reply I know my mom approves of my life it just sucks that we cant talk back abd forth I still talk to her alot and cry every few days or so thinking of different moments. My dad drives me crazy with all his negativity but my family and friends our my castle I dont know what I would do without them.

I’m taking a little break between lunch and dinner its labor day weekend here very busy. Just read up on some of your last entries. Broke back sone funny memories of birthday’s past. Like my 20th when we had that huge party in in my house with the bands. That house should never have made it through that I think the ceiling was giving in. Also remember when we through that idiot Mark off the porch and down the stairs. Those were the care free days. I also passed your email to Mike in Las vegas Im sure he will drop you a line. What was the name of that bar where he used to play? I cant remember for the life of me. Have you ever heard from KC I often think about what happened to him. Happy belated birthday hope you continue to have strong days. Talk to you soon.

Ive added some new people to your list figured you would enjoy hearing from Chad and Mike those are a few of the people I still keep in contact with on a regular basis. I told you that Dave Pulice and his family cane down a few weeks ago. We had many fun family adventures. Also Cole has been picked to try out on One Tree Hill the tv series. We have given some of his pictures to Screen Gem studios and they called the other day. Who knows maybe he can make some money$$$. He is getting so big starting to talk I had an outburst on the boat the other day and Cole repeated the “F” word. I really hope this isnt goingto be his first word.
September 6, 2007 at 5:25 pm
Cole had cast tryouts foe the series “One Tree Hill” I bet he will make it maybe he will be famous. Regardless he can look back on the experience.

Thanks for the birthday wish I had a good time. We went out to eat at a fine dining restaurant the food was good the service was so so. Of course I told them about it. It didnt go over very well but we did spend almost a thousand dollars between seven of us. I also cried today talking to my mom on my birthday. But that is to be expected I guess. Do I have a problem all my friends brought me every form of crown possible? No life is too short enjoy it while you can. Love Jason P.S. I talked to KC it was nice to talk to an old friend it seems like we never lost a beat.
September 14, 2007 at 9:40 pm
I guess if Jason is posting, I should add to the mix!
Chip, I have been keeping up with your postings but have not had the time to drop a line. Amy, Bella and I are thinking about you.
See ya!

When my mom was sick she used one of those 7 day pill containers like when your a senior citizen. Also its definetely to have your partner in the loop of when and what your taking as Im sure she is. Some of those drugs are very harsh and make you forgetful. While we are getting up do you have Stevo new number I used to have it. Take care go Steelers.
September 20, 2007 at 7:24 pm
It’s never fun going to the dentist but in a sick way I always feel relaxed at rhe dentist but I’ve also never had a cavity in my life. I little bit of pain is like a drug sometimes its weird. Anyway I talked to Stevo for about an hour the other day and we vowed to keep in contact at least once a month. Either I will go up there or he would like to visit down here sometime soon. Its been nice to catch up you know you were good friends when you dont talk for awhile but when you do its like you never stopped talking. There’s a magnet on our frig from one of Heather’s friends that says” friends are like stars they are always there even if you cant see them” I aways thought that was nice. Continue doing what you do sounds like everything has kinda been the same for awhile. Give me a call sometime soon.
September 24, 2007 at 7:51 pm
Hey Chip,
It was great talking to you after all these years. I’m terrible about staying in touch with friends. That’s something I’m trying to improve on. So expect to hear from me much more now that I have your number. Anyway, I wish nothing but the best for you. You have lots of people in your corner. Next time I’m in WV (probably Christmas), maybe Laura and I can take a pit stop in Charleston and we can all hang out. Take care man!
Talk to you soon,
Matt

Those pictures look fantastic I miss those days of hiking and camping. Still working on my wife I think I got her especially if there a bathroom and shower near by. Cole will be into that within the next few year’s. There are several islands off shore which lots of people camp out on cant wait to do that. My father inlaw from Ohio has been in all week we played tourist in Wilmington all week. Fishing, boating, site seeing, out to dinner, and a couple of historic carriage rides pretty much sums it up. What else Cole got his first haircut yesterday we had too he had a sweet beachy mullet working. Seems like your doing well. Nice to get back to my regular schedule!
